Dedicated to Integral Wisdom

Vision & Mission

The Fintry Trust defines Integral Wisdom as the orderly and effective expression and application of Truth, Goodness, Beauty and Unity.

Our Vision

Lives inspired by the Universal Ideals of Truth, Goodness, Beauty and Unity.

Our Mission

The Trust teaches Ideal Philosophy, Art, Science and Religion, guiding us to unfold personal and collective potential. This leads to the realisation of Truth, Goodness, Beauty and Unity, opening a pathway to Integral Wisdom, ancient and modern. The Trust encourages and supports such work wherever it is found. It aims to make this universal and perennial wisdom widely available by offering a range of public educational programmes and retreats. The Fintry Trust defines Integral Wisdom as the orderly and effective expression and application of Truth, Goodness, Beauty and Unity.

The practical steps to achieve our Vision and Mission are set out in a Fintry Trust Strategy, and Operational Plan which are updated on a regular basis.

Philosophical Training

Underlying the work of the Fintry Trust is a dedication to the perennial and integral wisdom.

Many people experience a spiritual longing for something beyond their circumstances: something purer and more lasting. Others feel themselves alone in upholding principles not obviously valued by society. Established religion may not seem to help, yet neither do passing fashions and schools of thought fully satisfy this need.

Countless philosophical and religious systems are now available to us, but it’s possible to follow any number of these systems without ever finding an explanation of the unity at the heart of them all.

The Universal Order is a small yet world-wide organisation, which offers systematic teaching in those philosophical principles which underlie all real knowledge and wisdom, and which are themselves the foundation of all creation.

This has been called the religion of the spirit. It has been the goal of mystics, saints and philosophers of all ages.

Each individual has a distinct place and purpose in the world, and training in The Universal Order enables members to realize the deeper significance of all that they do, while leaving them free to apply the principles in their own self-chosen way.

Members proceed through the system of teaching at their own pace, receiving readings by post, when they request them.

It should be noted that members of The Universal Order are asked not to give up any ideas or beliefs they already hold, but rather to follow their reason and conscience in all things.

Apart from an entrance fee of £1, no money is required at any stage. The Universal Order relies solely on voluntary donations.
