Autumn Equinox Retreat

Celebrate the Autumn Equinox by spending some thoughtful and relaxing time at our beautiful retreat house.

Fintry is the home of the Fintry Trust. It is an Arts and Crafts style house set in the Surrey Hills, offering woodland walks and extensive views across the landscape.

The atmosphere of the house and grounds is perfectly suited to a contemplative retreat from the everyday. You’ll find here a peaceful space and a time to seek the timeless within.

Numbers will be limited, so there will be plenty of space to yourself, and all rooms are single occupancy unless a twin room is requested.
Generous home-cooked vegetarian menu using fresh garden produce, home-made cakes, jam, marmalade, etc.

The retreat begins at 2.00 pm on Friday afternoon with an option of a talk by Frances Eley, Lecturer for the Open University, entitled ‘The Mithraic Equinox’. Frances will give a further talk on Saturday morning called ‘Surviving Winter Blues’.

Over the weekend, you’ll also have access to our unique Library with its 4,000 books. Or if you prefer, just come and make a private retreat for yourself.

Somewhere along the way, we will make time for some music and poetry for the Autumn season before the retreat ends after lunch on Sunday afternoon.

Lots to enjoy in good company, or alone.
