Winter Retreat

Restore your balance as you begin the New Year.

This retreat weekend is a chance to enjoy the winter peace and beauty of Fintry house and grounds. You’ll be well catered for and looked after within a simple retreat timetable with options for readings and discussions on spiritual subjects. Or you can simply catch up on your own practice and reading.

Apart from walks in the beautiful grounds and around Fintry itself, there is plenty of space at Fintry to tuck yourself quietly away, including in the Library and the Studio fully-equipped with yoga mats and blankets.

The timetable will include some periods of silence to allow for reflection. Options will include periods of meditation, poetry for the winter season, and discussions on the theme of the healing and consoling power of philosophy. You will also be offered a private time to discuss your own spiritual path.

The retreat cost is £200 to include full board (vegetarian catering).

Participants limited to 10 places (all in single rooms), although double rooms are available on request.
